Whisky Month invites you to explore Scotland through its famous national drink in a month long festival including highlights such as the Spirit of Speyside Festival, Spirit of the West and Feis Ile – Islay’s Malt and Music Festival.

Throughout May 2009, look out for some of Scotland’s most popular and exclusive distilleries as they open their doors to visitors.

Explore and discover the unique characteristics of the whisky regions of Scotland: the Highlands, Speyside, Lowlands, Islay and Campbeltown, as well as getting behind the scenes to experience the creation of this iconic drink through the many distillery tours and events on offer.

Although some events are free, prices vary for distilleries, tours, events and festivals. For details on availability, ticket prices and how to book use the search engine to select the event you wish to see following the link to the event or distillery website.
