The Sweet Charity Homecoming Ball 2009
Dates: Friday 21st August
Venue: The Radisson Hotel, Glasgow
An annual fundraiser for the sweetie industry in Scotland. Attendees can be from the industry or anyone involved in retailing, wholesaling or manufacturing confectionary in Scotland from the smallest fudge and toffee shop to the largest international manufacturer. The 2009 Ball will feature a fun filled night of all that Scotland loved in Music and Dance and will feature the works of Rabbie burns in celebration of his 250th anniversary.

World Record Ceilidh

This event, hosted by Glasgow University International Society, will provide an array of entertainment including a samba band, an accomplished live Ceilidh band and HITA DJs throughout the night who will be playing a mix of world/popular dance music of all genres.
